Carole is a writer and artist who lives in Davis California with her service dog Hazel. Carole studied art and design at UC Davis and CSU Sacramento, where she completed an MA in English with creative writing emphasis. For several years she was a member of The Artery, a cooperative gallery in Davis. Carole's art and poetry has been published in literary journals and book anthologies. Her poetry chapbook Wolfdream won the Anabiosis Press chapbook contest and gained her a Pushcart Poet nomination. Illustrated books, at the shimmering intersection of art and writing, are the art form she loves the most.
